As members of this local body, our covenant before God and this assembly of believers is for the purpose of the building up of the Kingdom and each member through:
Personal Growth
To mature in my personal relationship and intimacy with God through the regular practice of spiritual disciplines such as reading of scripture, prayer and worship. (Col.1:10)
Fellowship
To attend and support regularly the varied services of Chester Freedom Ministries. (Acts 2:42)
Service
To strive to be a blessing to the Lord and others by using my talents and spiritual gifts for the benefit of the body. (1 Peter 4:10)
Evangelism
To always be ready to share my faith with those who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal savior. (1 Peter 3:15)
Prayer
To be a person of consistent prayer for my fellow members, leaders and for the vision of Chester Freedom Ministries. (Col.1:9)
Financial Support/Stewardship
To exercise the belief that everything belongs to God and to use my personal resources wisely and financially support both the work and needs of the body. (Psalm 24:1)
Unity
To guard my mouth from gossip and my heart from destructive criticism and to help build up the body in love. To submit to the discipline of this church through the elders as out lined in the scripture and to be willing to give and grant forgiveness generously. (Col.3:14)
